Prog! Math! Horns! The intro to this tune came to me, quite literally, in a dream–11/8 time signature, quartal harmonies, and all–and I realized it needed the full avant-prog treatment.
Thanks to Tom Dambly (trumpet), Mike Freitas (drums), Chris Now (trombone), and Craig Polson (bass). I played C-melody saxophone. Recorded in 1996.
