I wasn’t at all happy with the first version of this challenge track that I posted. So I redid it, and now it makes me feel all sunshiney inside. I re-recorded all the vocals, which were horrible, re-recorded the bass with the original part that I wrote for it using a capo (which works perfectly! who knew you could capo a bass?), and swapped out the drum samples for something a whole lot funkier. Then I mixed it again from scratch, including putting all the harmonies in stereo, which I failed to do the first time.
So much happier with this version.
